Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: September 8, 2026

This policy sets out what may be uploaded to Go Edit Photos and what may be asked of our editors. It forms part of our Terms of Service, and applies to every account.

1. Content You Must Not Upload

• Images of child sexual abuse, or any sexual content involving a minor. We report this to the authorities without notice and terminate the account permanently.
• Images you have no right to use — someone else's photographs, stock images outside their licence, or material taken without the subject's consent where consent is required.
• Content that is unlawful where you are or where we operate, including material that incites violence or hatred against a person or group.
• Malware, or files disguised as images.

2. Edits We Will Not Make

• Anything intended to deceive: falsifying a document, identity card, receipt, invoice, medical scan, or evidence.
• Placing a person into a sexual or compromising scene they were not in, or removing clothing.
• Edits designed to defame or harass an identifiable person.
• Removing a watermark, signature, or copyright notice from work that is not yours.
• Retouching that misrepresents a regulated product — for example altering a medical result, a safety label, or a nutrition panel.

If a request falls into a grey area, we will ask you before we start rather than quietly refuse.

3. Using the Platform

• Do not share your login. Each account belongs to one person or business.
• Do not attempt to access another client's projects, invoices, or files.
• Do not probe, scan, or attempt to break the platform's security. If you find a vulnerability, tell us — see section 6.
• Do not use automated tools to scrape the site or hammer our upload endpoints.
• Share links are your responsibility. Anyone holding one can view and download that job, so send them only to people you intend to see the work.
• Do not resell access to the platform itself. Reselling the editing work to your own clients is expected and welcome.

4. Storage

Storage is for the work we are doing or have done for you. It is not a general file host or a backup service. Uploading material unrelated to an editing job may be removed.

5. What Happens If This Policy Is Broken

Depending on what has happened, we may: ask you to remove the content; refuse a specific request; suspend the account while we look into it; terminate the account; or report the matter to law enforcement. Unlawful content is removed immediately and without warning.

Where the breach is unintentional — the wrong file uploaded, a request that was not thought through — we will simply tell you and give you a chance to put it right.

6. Reporting

To report misuse, a security vulnerability, or content that should not be on our platform, email contactus@goeditphotos.com. We take security reports seriously and will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine vulnerability in good faith.
